2021\u5e74\u5ea6\u3088\u308a\u5343\u7e3d\u6587\u5316\u7814\u7a76\u6240\u306f\u3001\u660e\u6cbb\u671f\u304b\u3089\u662d\u548c\u521d\u671f\u306b\u5343\u7e3d\u5f53\u4e3b\u3092\u52d9\u3081\u305f\u300112\u4ee3\u897f\u6751\u7e3d\u5de6\u885b\u9580\u306e\u6d3b\u52d5\u306b\u95a2\u3057\u3066\u8abf\u67fb\u3092\u958b\u59cb\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u672c\u30da\u30fc\u30b8\u3067\u306f\u3001\u6210\u679c\u5831\u544a\u306e\u4e00\u74b0\u3068\u3057\u3066\u300112\u4ee3\u897f\u6751\u7e3d\u5de6\u885b\u9580\u306e\u6d3b\u52d5\u3092\u5e74\u8868\u5f62\u5f0f\u3067\u3054\u7d39\u4ecb\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002\u305d\u308c\u306b\u4f34\u3044\u73fe\u5728\u8abf\u67fb\u4e2d\u306e\u95a2\u9023\u4f5c\u54c1\u30fb\u8cc7\u6599\u306e\u4e00\u90e8\u3092\u63b2\u8f09\u3044\u305f\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002

\u203b\u672c\u7814\u7a76\u306f\u516c\u76ca\u8ca1\u56e3\u6cd5\u4eba\u9ad9\u68a8\u5b66\u8853\u5968\u52b1\u57fa\u91d1 \u4ee4\u548c3\u5e74\u5ea6\u7814\u7a76\u52a9\u6210\u3092\u53d7\u3051\u3066\u5b9f\u65bd\u3055\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002 <\/span><\/p>

From FY 2021, the Institute for Chiso Arts and Culture has started research on the activities of Nishimura S\u014dzaemon XII, the head of Chiso from the Meiji to the Sh\u014dwa period (1870s-1930s). As an example of the results of this research, this page shows a chronological table of the activities of Nishimura S\u014dzaemon XII. In addition, related works and documents currently under research are also shown.
Nishimura S\u014dzaemon XII was one of the merchants who played a major role in the modernization of Kyoto. Needless to say, his numerous achievements and activities were possible only thanks to a social and human support network. However, the full picture of this milieu is still not well understood. Through the clarification of this social environment and human network, this research aims at throwing light on the reality of Chiso in the modern period, and showing one example of the modernization of the arts and crafts scene in Kyoto.
Although it is presented in a simplified form, we hope that this information will be useful for a variety of research fields.
